Solidarity night race in Marbella – Deportistas por una Causa (Athletes for a Cause)

The Association Deportistas por una Causa born in 2011, with the intention of fighting inequality through organizing sport events to raise funds that  entirely goes to social causes and cooperate in humanitarian aid. Therefore the Association along with the city of Marbella celebrate the October 24, 2015 the first Race Urban Night DX1C.

This successful sports-charity event began with the visits of all participants and a large number of Marbella neighbors who came to the finish area from 18:00 hours where they did participate in various recreational activities issued by the Fire Marbella, Civil Protection Fire and NGO BUSF.

At Exit 19’30h he gave the younger who also participated in this edition with his own night race in which they traveled 1 km from from the Arroyo Bridge Dam Park until the entry into Meta.At 20:15 hours and in the same area, the exit to the 1,350 participants enrolled in this race that traveled 7 km through the streets of Marbella filling them with color, joy and lots of Solidarity since 100% of the money was given by recaudad the price of the inscriptions (€ 10 per adult and € 5 children), is donated to benefit the Human Being and BUSF, collaborative partnerships BUSF its welfare projects and humanitarian actions.

After the race the President of the Association Athletes for a Cause, Angel Mora and his partner Diego Muñoz Ledesma alongside the president of the Human Being Association, Ana Garrido and five representatives of United Firefighters (BUSF), accompanied by the Mayor of Marbella Jose Bernal Gutierrez in the delivery of the corresponding medals to the top three in the senior category. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to each and every one of the participants and all enterprises and public institutions that have made it possible to realize so successfully this charity race.
